Top hung and center pivot Keylite Roof Windows
Keylite roof windows with dual hinge system (top hung and center pivot) are available for the low-pitched roofs, where a clear view to the outside is required. This range of Keylite roof windows could have, according to the sizes and purpose, an opening of 30° (TH – top hung range) or 45° (FE – fire escape range). Fire escape roof window also allows access to the roof.
This range of Keylite roof windows is equipped with powerful struts that eliminate the need of complicated fixing systems.
Everyday operation of the window is facilitated by rotating the handle at the bottom of the window. A gentle push upward opens the window fully to 30°. The Fire escape range allows an initial opening at 15°, while a second push can open the window at 45°.
Although hinged at the top, the Keylite TH (Top Hung) Window retains its ventilation flap and centre-pivoting hinge for cleaning purposes common to all Keylite Roof Windows. By simply disassembling the two safety screws the top hinge becomes functional.
